Beverley Family Home

We have recently completed our biggest project to date, a referral from a previous client - the full refurbishment of a large family home, top to bottom.

 

This project was our biggest to date, not only in size of property but in the scale of work needed to bring the property up to a standard our clients required for modern day family living. From top to bottom this very unique house needed modernisation and a little love and tlc.

 

On our initial viewing of the property we knew it needed a little life injecting into it, it felt very utilitarian, probably due to the nature of the original building not being designed as a home.

We set about considering every room, keeping our clients needs in mind. Their love of modern country styling, 3 teenage children, 2 dogs and home working drove the brief.

 

The main features included a new family kitchen/diner, with a dining room with sunroom, principal bedroom suite with walk in robe and en-suite, reconfigured family bathroom, home office space and reconfigured top floor bathroom, making this into 2 ensuite bathrooms serving two of the four top floor bedrooms.

The basement of the home became a wonderful bar and games room space - we retained the exposed brick walls and ceilings and used this to lead the design, giving it a New York speakeasy feel.

 

This was a fantastic project to work on and it has been featured in a numerous articles by the suppliers that we worked with.
